Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in an area of the Peak Park littered with evidence of past lead mining (so don’t stray off the paths!). It is on a hillside overlooking the Manifold Valley and very close to Dovedale, Ilam park, Thors cave and lots of other places well worth a visit.

You are looking for a Tupperware type container with a yellow lid which contains all sorts of novelty items.

There are numerous interesting (and possibly strenuous) ways to approach the site by footpaths, from car parks in Wetton, Ilam, Milldale, and Weag’s bridge etc. For those without the energy though, the shortest way is by parking on Stable Lane (no through road) N53*05.274 W001*49.752 and walking down to the path which crosses at the bottom of the lane (less than 0.2ml) .
