Geocache Description:

One easy nano as you cruise along Vytauto Street in Palanga.

The cache is hidden by a very old drug store known as Gintarine Vaistine, first opened by Mr. J.L.Feld back in 1827. The aphoteca building was burned out and rebuilt a couple of times and changed a lot of owners through years.



Famous Trejos Devynerios, a 27 herb mixture started being made there by the end of the 19th Century.

After WW2 the building got occupied by Soviet Marine Inteligence Corps headed by major Pavlov.



A couple of years later the drug store started functioning again. It again changed a lot of owners and administration personel. The Apotheca was assigned number 458 in Lithuanian drug store registry in 1989.

You are welcomed to see an authentic furniture inside and buy the medicine should you need.
