Geocache Description:

The 2010 Redux is very traditional but totally revamped from the original 06/2005 Tori's Treasure. It continues the "family friendly" theme of staying close to main trails, with somewhat increased possibility of getting muddy.

The original Tori's Treasure fell on hard times as the park has been developed. The Redux version features a fancy new squarish box with similar capacity as the classic 30cal ammo box. It has been moved to a new location further west in order to accommodate newer caches in the area. Serving suggestion: Drive south on 17th Ave NE from Northgate Way, park around the trail-head at 17th Ave NE and NE 104th St. Follow the trail and cross Thornton Creek, follow the main trail that immediately runs to your right. This trail, likely to be slippery when wet, winds around and is hilly.

08/11 UPDATE: As you follow the main trail and cross a small log "bridge" close to GZ, the best path is a straight shot "west-ish" off the main trail across the knoll and gulley, uphill from the mucky area. ORIG: When you get "pretty close" and are ready to leave the main trail on a straight shot to GZ, there is a mucky gulley of run-off in the way. The best path bears to the left / east, cresting an ivy-covered knoll before crossing the gulley further uphill.

Please note that Gopher has moved from Seattle and solicits someone to take over ownership.
