A great place for a quick and easy find. A nice place for a picnic or some fishing!

The cache is the size of a small soda can, with some small toys and a travel bug (TB)*. So sign the log book, and select your toy.

The Hose House faces Bridge Street and sits in the town's historic district. On the other side of the Town Common is the old Town Hall, built in 1740, home to the Historic Society Museum. The museum gives neighborhood tours, taking guests through its building, the old Alice Hall Memorial Library and the one-room School House No. 5 on School Street.

Bring a picnic lunch and visit the town common. If you'd like, you can walk over to Mike's Red Barn. It is a popular, longtime Salem establishment known for its meat selection and prepared meals. They can prepare hot & cold sandwiches to order (take out only), then you can take it back over to the picnic table near the cache!

* TB Golden Rule
Most cachers view TB's as a trade item, governed by the "Golden Rules" of trading:
1) Take something from the cache. 2) Leave something in the cache "of similar worth". This means that if you take a TB away, you should be prepared to LEAVE another TB in it's place. (Note: Since this is a small cache, only TBs small in size will fit.)

This was a great area and and a nice diversion from my ride back home on 93. My GPS was bouncing all over the place, but with nobody else around it was easy to wander back and forth without muggles looking at me strangely. TNLN. TFTC.
