Geocache Description:

Grustak

I dette området som vi nå er i fant vi på 16 og 17 hundretallet et park / hageanlegg her .
Anlegget tilhørte Krefting familien som drev Bærums Jernverk.
Parkområdet strakte seg under Eineåsen fra Bårdsethaugen i øst til Helseheimens inngangsport i vest.
Parken var åpen for de ansatte ved Bærums Jernverk hver søndag.
Rundt 1960 ble det for første gang brukt ”Moderne rasjonelle metoder” i skogdriftenlokalt noe som efektivt utryddet vegitasjonen.
Hele området ble sprytet med plantegift for at løvtrær og annet fanteri skulle gi plass til gran som ble plantet ut.
Omkring 1970 ble det hentet ut sand og grus fra dette området.
Uttaket av masse ble etter vært stoppet men området ble mer eller mindre ødelagt av denne virksomheten.
I følge sang skal også dette området ha huset Jotnen selve trollet i Gommerudåsen.

Cachen:
Boksen er en L&L boks med bytteting og loggbok.
Denne cachen er også min 150'ende utlagte Norske cache i 2009.

in the area that we are in we found at 16 and 17 century a park / garden here.
The plant belonged to Krefting family who ran Bærums Ironworks.
Park area stretching under Eine Bårdsethaugen hill from the east to Helseheimens gateway to the west.
The park was open to the employees at Bærums Ironworks every Sunday.
Around 1960 it was first used "modern rational methods" in forestry locally which effective destroyed vegetation.
The whole area was sprayed with plant poison that trees and other deviltry would give way to spruce that was planted out.
Around 1970 it was taken out of sand and gravel from this area.
Outlet of the mass was been stopped but the area was more or less destroyed by this activity.
According to the legend this area have the housed Jotnen the troll in Gommerud hill.
Cache:
The cachebox is a small L&L box.
