Cache is located in the middle of five friends.

Our usual Friday caching group that consists of four or five of us had to move our excursion to Thursday this week. This was my first visit up this beautiful canyon and this spot caught my eye as we walked by. It reminded me of our group and it was a good spot to rest before tackling the uphill jaunt in the open under a hot sun.
The cache is a camoflaged Altoids tin.

Very nice. I'd planned to turn left and come this way, but I was making such good time and having such easy caching that I decided to stroll up to Capsbug's 1k Cache and back first. Now here I am at last. I spent some time looking around here, then remembered something I'd noted in the earlier logs, looked *there*, and there it was. TFTH! and onward, back into the sunlight.

Out hiking on an already hot morning, on this fine summer 's day. This is a very nice canyon and is recovering nicely from the recent fires. I work nearby and walk here often. TFTC

Out for a nice hike up the canyon from where I live. Had the day off from work, so why not enjoy a hike as I get ready for the annual Sierra backpacking trip. A nice little 10 mile hike with 10 cache finds to boot. TFTC

One of 25 finds during a day long hike - almost 11 miles total. After working my way back down from Crows Convention, I stopped for this one, which I missed on the way up. Everything was wet inside including the log. The last finder added a small sheet for a temp log. I added some additional sheets and a new ziploc, so hopefully it will be good for a while. Nice spot for a cache. Thanks for the hide!
