This is a two-part multi-cache located in Victor A. Fitchlee Park -- Royalton Ravine, a 156-acre park on Gasport Road in Royalton, NY, situated along the Niagara escarpment.
This is a two-part multi cache; both areas are located within the park. A maze of hiking trails go through the woods and along a creek, which leads up to a waterfall. Adjacent to the waterfall you can find the ruins of an old homestead.
Boardwalks run over many of the trails, but the ground can be extremely muddy, especially in the springtime – waterproof boots and bug repellant are highly recommended. A long suspension bridge provides access across the creek. Stay on the trails. No bushwhacking is required for this cache.
At the park you will find restrooms, picnic areas, shelters, nature trails, trash bins, and baseball diamonds.
Recommended parking is in the main lot near N43º 11.175 W078º 34.525
** NOTE – The Park opens at 7am and closes at 9pm.**
