This is now an “offset type” cache hunt where the posted coordinates lead to an intermediate location containing an encrypted vector to the main cache. (11/24/01)
The first part can be found in the original location, not far off a main trail. It is hidden from general view, but not buried. Please leave the "instructions" where you found them for the next Geocacher. Convenient parking is at N41° 33.552' W075° 42.445'. Follow a short doublewide trail out to the highway. Be careful crossing!!!
NOTE: Container is now a .30 caliber ammo box. (April 2013) There is a new logbook and a fresh assortment of items to trade for. Please use the logbook to register your visit and your comments or suggestions. Take something from the cache and put an appropriate item in its place. Be considerate.
Cautionary Note — This area can be very busy in Summer and Fall. Please use discretion and stealth when examining the cache sites to avoid attracting undue attention and potentially malicious curiosity. Return the directions and the container to their hiding places as you found them. Kindly pack out any trash, and most of all ... please be considerate.
Winter Cachers: Please try to erase, camouflage or otherwise confuse your tracks in the snow in order to maintain some level of difficulty for future Geocachers.
A refreshing post-Geocaching treat: At the end of this little adventure you can reward yourself with freshly-made ice cream from Manning's Farm Dairy located at N41° 33.961' W075° 39.843.
Good hunting, fellow GeoCachers!!!
