Tri-go's Totally Tubular Tailgating Time Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

pghlooking: Well it's time to shut off the snow maker. All the Yellow Snow has been eaten. We have found out who the Grand Appenger is and have seen him raise his trophy high above his head. We have stared in disbelief at 2 topless tubers. Most everyone stood in a steady rain to cheer on their teams and jeer their opponents. We have shared stories with friends, and met new ones. We have swapped coins and TBs and now they are all gone. I would like to thank Yime for his graphics work, medic005 for his donation of prizes, Geo Gypsy for her record keeping on the races, RO for keeping the list of TBs which resulted in none being left in the cache, and Radioactive Coconut for helping me plan this and making the Yellow Snow. This was fun for all including myself. We will see you all next year at the 2nd annual event.

Geocache Description:

4:30 - 10:00 Come early or late. Stay long or stay short.

Holiday blues got you down? Tired of Aunt Franny's fruitcake? Missing those TRI-GO people a little too much? Well here is a way to get you past that. An evening filled with fire, friends, and flying down a hill at speeds that dare you to open your eyes and not scream like a little girl. Sno Zone is a winter wonderland attraction nested in the rolling South Hills. It contains a snow tubing hill, half pipe for the young daredevils, and a tent for the non risk taking elders. There is a small concession stand with snacks and such, as well as a bonfire to be warmed by. Cost is $10 for the evening per person for only those wishing to ride the Tube of Terror. It's free to come hang out if you aren't riding. Please list how many people are coming in each group so I can let the park know how many to expect. While there is no age restrictions at the park, use your own judgement for kids. Parents may tether a tube together, but EVERYONE must ride 1 per tube.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[weather will of course be a major factor with this event, but since they make their own snow we should be good]
