It’s estimated that the public has access to only 10% of the inland marine beaches of Puget Sound. This cache is located on a small sliver of these publicly accessible tidelands, and may be a little difficult to reach depending on the tide. It will be a short, enjoyable stroll along the beach at low tide, but a more difficult, bushwacking, foot-soaking ordeal at high tide. Choose your preference by consulting a tide table. Either way, the walk may be a little muddy, so wear your boots.
Thanks to some intrepid attenders of the GeoLuau, there is an alternate trail you can take if the tide is too high to walk on the beach. We'll leave it up to you to find the way...
A special thank you to the Barnabirdy(s) who created and donated the cache container.
