This cache is located in the Port Crescent State Park Day Use area. Please observe posted park hours and entry requirements and respect the environment by staying on the designated trails.
The container is a small Lock 'N Lock with a log, pencil, and a few trade items. Scratch off lottery ticket for FTF. This is a "Lean and Grab" - no need to leave the designated path.
This series is dedicated to my Mother, Margie, who passed away in 1991 at the age of 87. She experienced much in her life - she drove a Model T, flew with her pilot brother in a 2-seater bi-plane, lived through two World Wars as well as the Korean and Viet Nam wars, lived in a world with no TV or internet, and had a love of the Great Lakes that she passed on to her 5 children. My first family camping trip was at Port Crescent State Park, which is why I wanted to place some caches in her memory here. I hope you will enjoy this park as much as I have over the years. This location is very peaceful and has a beautiful view - take a few moments to enjoy and wave at the kayakers passing by.
