A Multi Cache in The Historic Rideau Canal Village of Merrickville
Merrickville is one of the most historic villages in Eastern Ontario.
This cache is designed to teach you a bit about it's one of it's most notable features. The Rideau Canal.

At the posted coordinates, you will find a sign which will give you what you need to find the cache.
On the side entitled, "Proudly bringing you Canada at its best!", you will find five numbers. Add the second and third numbers together, and multiply that sum by itself.
This will give you the distance to the cache in metres.
The sum of the digits in your answer should be four.
On the side entitled, "Merrickville", you will find 13 numbers (be careful!).The math here is a bit more involved, but you can do it!
From the 2nd number subtract the 7th number times seven, and subtract the 3rd, 9th, 11th and 13th numbers as well.
This will give you the bearing to the cache in degrees from True North.
The sum of the digits in your answer should be 15.
Now use the "project a waypoint" feature on your GPS to calculate where the cache is located. I suppose you could try to walk a circle, but it would get a bit wet in some spots.
