I was having coffee with nolenator after a long morning of kid
things (get milk for 2 year old at 4 AM, orthodontist visit, music
camp dropoff, arrange beach time, etc.) and with a bemused look on
his face he asks "How's it going man?"
"Man, I just don't have any time for caching anymore. Not only
can't I go look for them, I can't even hide any and it's been
awhile. I feel the need to hide a cache."
"Feel the need, huh?" he responds. And then it hit me. And I
told him I would place a cache today and that's what I would name
it. Nothing terribly special, just a micro and a bit of work to
find the true coordinates.
The posted coordinates are in the middle of Portage Bay. You may
go there if you wish. You can rent a kayak at the nearby Agua Verde
cafe. But you don't need to. The cache is located at a distance of
0.264 miles at an azimuth of 29.30 degrees (referenced to True
North) from the posted coordinates.
You will get a very nice view from the cache location so that's
worth something. And for goodness sake, please be careful not to
drop anything when retrieving the container.
As usual, hints after the FTF
