A New Castle on the Horizon
In Wisconsin, United States
How Geocaching Works
This is a simple, micro cache placed in honor of a place that we visitors from Illinois consider a must-see when we cross the border into the land of cheese.
Stealth will be your greatest challenge as you hunt this cache though there is an obvious ruse you can employ to disguise your actions. This host seems to be going strong, even since the old castle was torn down. If it is eventually removed now that the new castle is complete, I will find the cache a new home right away.
NOTE ADDED 12/6/2010:
When I placed this cache just over a month ago, publication was denied because there was another unpublished cache within 528 ft.. Wis Kid said mine could be published if the other CO didn't activate the cache within a month. When a month passed, I resubmitted and mine was published.
Now, apparently, some cachers have found mine, some have found the other one quite nearby, and at least two have found both. See the hint for which one is NOT the active cache.
This certainly explains the FTF confusion! Thanks to brkster and tom k. for bringing this to my attention!
There is always some way to leave your mark on the log. Future logs that indicate the finder did not sign for any reason (no pen, log full, pack of wolverines scared me off, etc.) will be deleted.
