SPIRIT QUEST”
The Indiana Spirit Quest series of geocaches
will take you to a number of historic cemeteries built by
Hoosier Pioneers. In just a year and a half, the quest has grown to
over two hundred seventy caches hidden in twenty-seven Indiana
counties, and two Ohio counties, and the hiders have grown to ten
cacher teams, nine of which of which are comprised of Dogs and
their Humans. Over 480 cacher teams have
logged over 5,400 finds. One cache machine found 102 ISQ caches in
a single day (daylight hours only).

”Stark Contrast!"
Welcome to Hollistser Cemetery in Salem
Township, Steuben County.
Listen to what the Shadow says:
This is Hollister Cemetery.
It is small and surprisingly active site, but not by much. The most
noticeable thing that caught my eye here, was the stark contrast
between the very new towards the front with a very old section in
the back.
There are only three
existing veterans tombstones here, from the Civil War. Most
information on the markers is illegible due to wear. Being on top
of a hill in a very much open area, has taken it's
toll.
There is a family plot here
(Locke) that has 14 visible small markers; the oldest is dated
1837. So this little cemetery has to be quite
old.

small loc-n-loc. BYOP. .The cache is not located
near a grave... If you find a fallen US flag, please stick it
back in the ground. As always, please be respectful, and cache
