Geocache Description:

PLEASE HELP PRESERVE THE CACHE AREA, DO NOT VISIT THIS CACHE IF IT IS MUDDY. Beautiful place to visit, wait for trail to be dry.

This is a two-for-one. There is a benchmark in the immediate area too! Towards the top of a hill, but not quite there.

This is my first cache. It is intended to be the launch site for my first batch of travel bugs. In the recent few weeks I collected a few travel bugs to keep mine company. These are all travel bugs with simple travel-only goals. Cache is a flatish Rubbermade container with a blue lid.

I came here hiking in the Spring and thought this would be a good place for a cache. I have a picture of the area which I will post when my film gets developed. I took it when I first got there. You could see clear to the Bay. By the time I got done placing the cache though, the fog was so thick the view was gone.

Please be very careful when replacing this cache. If it is not covered carefully, it can be seen from the trail. I was able to use the surrounding grass to hide it without pulling any out.

Edit 9/12/03 - Changed Terrain to a 2 to account for the change in elevation on your way to the cache.
