Approx 20Km from the coast, Sella is easily
reached by car, either from Villajoyosa (via the CV-770), or
Benidorm / Finestrat (via the CV-767 (past Carrefour) CV- 758 /
CV-770)
There are numerous bars and restaurants in the
village as well as a small supermarket. Accomodation is also
available at www.villagehouseinspain.com
You will see Sella's Divine Mountain (Peñón
Divino) as you approach the village (above) however do not be too
alarmed by it's inaccessible appearance! Access to the cache is
from the rear which is a much gentler ascent. Continue through the
village on the CV-770 (heading towards Puerto de Tudons) Approx 5Km
out of the village the road bends sharply to the left, take the
right turn onto a narrow tarmac road. You are now entering the
Tagarina Valley. Drive all the way up the valley approx 6Km (pass a
German riding stables - 'Remonta Aleman') Park at the end of the
tarmac road (N38 37.835 W000 14.878) near to the spring 'Font Pouet
Alemany' (below)
NOTE - not advisable on windy days or in
low cloud.
From the parking area it takes about 1 hour to
walk to the cache (total distance approx 1.93Km / 1.2 miles) Go
straight on up the uneven track until you reach a fork (approx
0.48Km / 0.3 mile) Go left at the fork. Continue along the track
until you reach a turning on the right (again approx 0.48Km / 0.3
mile) Turn right here. Now just keep following this track until you
reach a ruin (Casa de Patarrana) with a tall pigeon loft (approx
0.97Km / 0.6 mile) You will see a group of 4 Holm oak trees (see
photo in the gallery) and from here it’s a short distance to the
cache but I will leave you to work out the last bit ! (return the
way you came)

This is a Micro Cache - a camo micro capsule
measuring 4cm x 1cm diameter and therefore only has room for the
logbook but no pencil/pen, so don’t forget to take one with you!
There is however a FIRST TO FIND
CERTIFICATE WELL DONE 'Boris the 3' (06/05/08)
SPOILER - if you would like to download a photo
showing EXACTLY where the cache is hidden then click the link
below. The .jpg is 320x240 so can be transferred onto a PDA/Pocket
PC or a mobile phone (if you know where the cache is hidden,
where’s the fun in caching?!!!)
