Geocache Description:

This multicache is located in protected woods surrounding the Little Harbor area in Portsmouth, NH. Terrain is mixed, some being in woods and some right on the water. The final cache location has an excellent view of Little Harbor, including the Naval Shipyard, Lady Isle and the old prison.

This cache is located within a half mile of the Wentworth-Coolidge Cache. Finding both together is a recommended trip.

The multicache begins on Little Harbor Road, where you will park your car off to the side at the coordinates provided below in a waypoint. The "trail" (more of a deer path) also begins here. It does not explicitly lead to any stage of the cache, but it will get you started in the right direction.

There are 3 stages to the cache, 2 transition and the cache itself. The coordinates provided above are for the first stage. At the first stage, you will be given coordinates for the second stage, as well as a hint and at the second stage, you will be given coordinates for the actual cache and a hint. Transition stages are duct tape wrapped 7x3" plastic cylinders with a bow of blaze orange signaling tape on them. They are labeled 'S1' and 'S2', respectively, denoting the first and second stages.

As the crow flies, it is around .75 mile to all three stages and back. You will walk more.

The clue for the first stage is: Go back to your roots.
