There are already a number of caches in this park but none at this end yet. You’ll likely hit this one on your way in or out. Appetizer or dessert, your choice!
Park at N 29 22.233, W 95 37.681. You’ll drive closer but this is really your only option for parking. The cache can be approached from several directions but the best and most scenic is to follow the namesake trail (get a map when you enter the park).
Please avoid the temptation to cut across any open grassland, even on game trails. If you stay on the obvious footpath you’ll get there soon enough and minimize unnecessary traffic across sensitive areas.
