Geocache Description:

Pack a camera with flash and a couple of flash lights, and wear cloths you don’t mind getting dirty, bring gloves, and I found knee pads would help in walking on your knees. Pack for a 1 to 3 hour excursion with water and snacks. . Inside the caves you will have to crawl on all fours to get into the back caves. You must NOT be claustrophobic to do this Geo Cache but the rewards are the greatest in the world.

Go to Hillsborough and go west on Golf Club Road, take the first right then staight through at the stop sign. In here you will find these coordinates. Park your car at N45 54.584 W64 40.878. Follow the trail to the south around the metal gate and straight on around the small pond on the right. At the T go right. From here walk about 500 meters to a trail into the woods to the left at approximate coordinates N45 54.192 W64 40.802. Go up this trail (I mean up a steep hill) to the top where you will find a camp fire pit.
CAVE #1: N45 54.129 W64 40.696
Just over the hill on front of you, follow the trails. One is hard and one is easy. You decide.
INSIDE CAVE #1: Inside the cave you can go down to the floor but it is slippery on the rocks. Look around and take some pictures. Please treat with respect and leave as you found it. My geologist friend says to leave the rocks alone especially on the ceiling.

CAVE # 2: N45 54.081 W64 40.769
Hardest Way: From where you first arrived look to the right and see a trail up the “steps”. Go up these steps to a T. Go right. About 75 Meters or so find a trial to the right. The caves are just over the hill. Watch out it could be scary going down.
Harder Way: There is another trail just up a little farther about another 100 Meters or so which is easier to navigate. It is easy to find once in there but you will lose GPS signal.
Easy way: Did you notice a trail to your right while coming up the hill when you first arrived? It is right at that fallen tree you had to duck under. That trail leads over to Cave #2.
INSIDE CAVE #2: There are 2 chambers to this cave and only the strong at heart will get into the 2nd chamber. (THIS CAVE HAS BEEN CLOSED DUE TO FALLING ROCKS FROM THE ROOF OF THE CAVE INSIDE DUE TO ALL THIS WET WEATHER.) The first is obvious. Go down and look around.
Good luck and good Geo Caching, this one is really worth the trip.

To prove you have been here please post a picture of you and your group when inside the caves.
