Geocache Description:

A Small Cache hidden off a ancient road by the river Douglas shadowed by Rivington Pike. Please take a pen to sign the log, this cache is crammed full of swapable items, there was no room for a pen!

The Cache Is hidden just by the river Douglas that's has its springs further up winter hill and winds it way towards the town of Wigan and beyond. You can access the Cache by travelling along Georges lane that was first recorded in 1280. The Cache site is overshadowed by Rivington Pike who's square tower that was built over 3 centuries ago as a shelter for Shooting party's
