This cache has been archived.

gpsfun: Since the owner reported on June 6 that the cache has been removed, I am archiving the cache page.

If the owner would like to replace it and have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile.

Please note that unarchiving a cache places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located off of Rt. 4 between Rangeley and Madrid. It is a rest and picnic area. There are some steep spots to climb but plenty of footing and a fence to hold onto. You will have to go across the foot bridge and follow the fence up stream. You will have to keep going up steam after the fence stops.

The cache is a white 1 gallon Fluff cantainer. Its hidden under two old uprooted trees. These 2 trees are sharing the same roots by the looks of it, and are one on top of the other. Almost looks like one tree. The tips of these dead trees are pointing down stream, and are about 50' to 60' away from the brook. This cache is completely covered with a piece of birch bark and small branches and leaves. Its well hidden because of the amount of people that come through this area, don't want it found by the wrong person. This cache started with 1) plastic magic spring, 1) paper punch, 1) mini stapler, 1) box of domino's, 1) stuffed dino. (rex), 1) corn beanie baby, 1) rubber ball, 1) bungee cord, 1) scented candle, 4) floating candles, and 1) carrot beanie baby.
