Geocache Description:

Welcome to GCHR's FIRST Wherigo cache!

Wherigo is a toolset for creating and playing GPS-enabled adventures in the real world. By integrating a Wherigo experience, called a cartridge, with finding a cache, the geocaching hunt can be an even richer experience. Among other uses, Wherigo allows geocachers to interact with physical and virtual elements such as objects or characters while still finding a physical geocache container. A Wherigo-enabled GPS device is required to play a cartridge.

Wherigo capable devices include the Garmin Colorado, Oregon, and Nuvi 500, as well as most GPS enabled Pocket PC devices. Android and iPhone users can download wherigo apps for free!

Are you confused yet?

So here's the jist of it; once you download the Wherigo cartridge into your phone or GPS, proceed to the posted coordinates. Once your phone or GPS senses that you are within the respected range of gz, a question (or questions) will pop up on your phone or GPS. Once you answer all the questions correctly, you will be sent to the next stop, and that continues all the way until the final (a small Lock-N-Lock). The hardest steps are figuring out how the Wherigo app works and being patient with the GPS. Sometimes it may take a little while to get an accurate reading (especially with the phones).

For more information, visit Wherigo.com. If the Wherigo cartridge does not work properly, please let me know!

This cache is part of the quest for The Holy Logbook, a series of caches based on scenes from the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. There will be more caches published in this series shortly. Remember to write down the clue on the container or logbook for the final.

Update: The Holy Logbook is now a stand alone puzzle, so you no longer have to write down the clue in the cache.

Continuing on his quest for The Holy Logbook, King Cacher and his crew were approaching another clue when they ran into a creek. "But, the clue is on the other side" said one of the crew members. King Cacher replies "Well, there's got to be a way to cross it without getting wet!" They all walked along the creek, and then amazingly, they saw a bridge! But, as they approach the bridge, they are confronted by a bridgekeeper who says...You'll find out when you do the cache . After they all managed to cross The Bridge of DNF, they agreed that this was the best, and the most thought-provoking clue they had found so far.

If you don't have a Wherigo capable device, I recommend that you find a caching buddy who does have one to complete this cache. There is a clue for The Holy Logbook here!

Many thanks to Great Scott! for test driving the cartridge before this cache was published!

Congratulations WINWINTERS, PenguinTeacher, and NanoSpillz on FTF on HR's first Wherigo!
Happy hunting!
