Prince George Transit is a Traveling Cache.
Once found, the cache finder is requested to pick up the entire
cache and re-hide it in a new location, somewhere in the Prince
George area.
Prince George Transit is always either Hidden or in In Transit. You
are advised to check this page in advance of seeking the cache to
confirm it's current status.
And a special thanx to the TransLink Board of Vancouver for the
fantastic idea and format. Good work guy's!!
This Traveling cache is my first mobile cache so be patient and
lets have fun with it !
This cache is currently:
Hidden
Prince George Transit can be found over and over by the same
cachers, as it will always be in a new location.
The cache is a camo painted Igloo 1 gallon drink container.
It originally contains items gathered from caches in BC and AB, a
list of the items and where they were picked up is included at the
back of the log book.
Once you find the cache, pick it up and take it with you.
Of course, you can leave the cache where you found it if you want,
but you will miss the fun of watching Prince George Transit on the
move.
Please email us immediately upon finding
the cache
DO NOT
wait until you re-hide it.
To do this click on the "Profile", next to "mitzydog", at the
top of this page to email us
We will change status from HIDDEN to in
TRANSIT so that other cachers will know it
is on the move and no longer at its posted location.
Email us the new coordinates, the date re-hidden and the new
difficulty ranking (i.e. 2 / 3).
We will update this page with the new location, new hidden date
and difficulty rating.
The new hidden date will flag the cache as new when searching for
local caches.
Re-hide the cache as soon as possible after you find
it.
NOTE: When you move and re-hide this cache,
you are responsible for maintaining it until a new cacher finds it.
If this cache gets plundered or stolen, then the last hider MUST
REPLACE IT with a new cache, at or near the same
location.
If you are not prepared to do this, then
please do not participate in this cache hunt.
If necessary, add a log entry to this page and
include any comments or hints that may be required for the new
location.
This can be done by using the "Post a Note" option, which can then
be deleted later.
We request that Prince George Transit be kept
in the general Prince George area. This will allow all the local
cachers to find and re-hide the cache, over and over
again.
If you have found Prince George Transit before,
you are welcome to search for it again after it is re-hidden by
another cacher. Essentially, if it is in a new location, it is a
new cache, and it is considered as a new find for you and logged as
such towards your total finds.
Please do not hesitate to email with any
suggestions and or changes which you feel will improve this
cache
