Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the Stute Spring Nature Trail.

The Stute Springs and Homestead Nature Trail is a wonderful trail located off of Highway Z between Eagle and Palmyra. There is a small parking lot to use, but a daily fee or State Park parking pass is required. At the entrance to the trail, brochures are available for only $0.25. This will give you some great historical information regarding the homestead and the surrounding area.

This cache is dedicated to my mother (U-TurnMama) and mother-in-law (tammasj). The title of this cache is one of U-TurnMama's favorite cliches. I smile every time she pulls it out when we do something similar, which seems to be more often as time goes by! U-TurnMama geocaches with me every time we are able to get together. tammasj has only been out with me to geocache one time, but she supports my love for it just as much as U-TurnMama. In fact, this cache container you are about to find was a Christmas gift from her.

You will arrive at this hiding spot before you actually reach the homestead. I did this so that U-TurnMama and tammasj would be able to enjoy their cache. I encourage you to continue on to the homestead and the entire nature trail...not only because it is a terrific trail, but because you can also find 3 other traditional caches and an earthcache while here! Enjoy!
