Geocache Description:

On Castle Rock.

Cammoed 3x5x7 tupperware, in a large bowl-like depression. You will walk in dry creekbeds, charred yucca fields, and grassy ridges to get to this. Cache is on top of the rock. The Zaca fire of 2007 reached the top. You will see burnt shrubs & small trees, even blackened lichen up here. This area is recovering nicely from that fire. You'll be rewarded with great views of other nearby rock formations.
