Geocache Description:

To commemorate the opening of the A428 - Hardwick to Caxton Gibbet widening scheme.

The Road
A cache and dash near the beginning of the new dual carriageway section of the A428 at Hardwick. A much welcomed construction for many locals that removes a single carriageway section that caused no end of snarl ups during rush hour.

The Cache
The cache is a magnetic keyholder. There is little room for anything else.

*** NOTE*** Please ensure you replace the cache exactly where you found it. Thanks

A tarmac path leads to the bridge, but there is still a lot of landscaping to complete - 130,000 trees and shrubs apparently.

Warning: May not suit those who do not have a head for heights !!

Cache:

  • Log book and pencil (if the plastic bag containing the logbook needs replacing - please let me know)
