Let's celebrate the first-ever CITO (Cache-In Trash-Out) event of Zambia in Kasama city, Northern Province, Zambia!
Over 100 school children from local schools will attend the CITO. They will be teamed up into several groups to find the caches for the event and collect litters on the way of finding treasures.
I think the number of geocachers in Zambia is very limited, but I rather want to hold this CITO event as a kind of promotion of Geocaching and CITO in Zambia.
I really hope a lot of geocachers living in Zambia will participate the event.
If you are interested, you will be asked to support one of the teams of children (aged 9-15) in the CITO event. You just watch them as being safe in the event.
Also you are asked to place caches around Kasama city before and after the event.
The gathering place is "Presidence Park", nearby police station. Please come to this place and find one of the Japanese volunteer, who will introduce to the event.
Date&Time: 2010/May/22 (Sat.) 9:00-12:00
Venue: Presidence Park
The geocaching event will start from 10:00.
