Geocache Description:

Cache News! - May 2013

Since adopting this cache (originaly titled 5-Star Banyan) we have debated on still wanting to keep the original idea, but add a twist. While this is not 5 star, it is difficult.

Placed in a quiet part of Liliuokalani Gardens, this cache is a benchmark of difficulty for Hilo-town. The original was inspired by some really tricky caches the original owner learned of while visiting the mainland. Signal reception at the cache location is a little sketchy for reasons that will become very evident, however, I think you will see your destination easily enough. The little beast itself is a very well camouflaged very small micro. Ponder it when you find it. The beauty of Queen Liliʻuokalani Park are the wonderful trees and great scenery. The park is enjoyed by many, so be careful of muggles when looking for this cache. The park also has some of the most beautiful Japanese gardens, so don't just come and find the cache, walk around and enjoy the park, the tranquility and the wildlife around you.
