This geocache is named after the portkey in the Harry Potter stories. The portkey an ordinary object in an ordinary place that means nothing to the muggles – they wouldn't give it a second look. Though to the wizzards, it is a way to travel to far-away places. One thing we love about geocaching is how places that we had unknowingly passed by before have caches hidden within them - only recognized by a special community of people.
This is a place we walk by often. There is nothing special here, but we thought it was just itching for some attention from geocachers. It is a busy place, so be stealthy!
