Geocache Description:

This cache is our second in our 2011 birthday tradition. Every time a member of lowdowntime celebrates a birthday this year, a cache will be made in honour of the special day. Happy 18th birthday Brennan! Our son loves hockey! He has played in Mississauga leagues since he was 5 and this year also played on his high school team. He is an eternal Leaf's optimist -- that they'll win a Stanley Cup in his lifetime. The cache is located near a spot which became a second home to us over the years. The Hershey Centre is the "Home of the Mississauga Braves" GTHL hockey association where Brennan just finished his 8th and final season. Founded in 1982, the Mississauga Braves Hockey Association is a nonprofit organization competing in the GTHL AA West Division with some 170 players aged eight to 18 on ten teams. Braves alumni include NHL great Jason Spezza who played four seasons with the Mississauga Braves prior to making the jump to AAA, and current OHL phenom John Tavares also proudly donned the Braves jersey. Initial cache contains a few hockey tradeables: a deck of Hockey playing cards, a Toronto Maple Leaf bookmark, 3 packs of Adrenaline hockey cards, a package of Team Canada tattoos, 2 sets of hockey stickers, a "Canada's Game" key chain, 2 hockey quarters, a log, pens, and geocoin. Two lucky loonies for FTF (remember the lucky loonie at the Salt Lake City Olympics?). Please use the traffic lights to cross the street.
Congrats to jtannahi on FTF!!
