Geocache Description:

All good things must come to an end.

Another year has passed, another birthday anniversary has impacted upon me, another reminder that I am just too frail and feeble to continue placing geocaches all over creation (cough, cough). As evidence of this, I need only point to the paucity of caches I've placed this year, including no new caches at all in January and February.  In addition, my scooter chair, that I use to get around, won't handle terrain ratings higher than 1.  Therefore, it is with deep sadness and a profund sense of regret that I announce my retirement from hiding geocaches (sob!).  A few of you may possibly recall that I previously attempted to retire.  However, the outcry from the geocaching community against such a move was so great that I was forced to bow to pressure and continue, like a galley slave chained to his oar.  Now, however, there is a new crop of fresh-faced young cachers, including, but not limited to, roodude, mhornbaker, ThePinkPurse and athenagrrlsx3, eagerly placing caches in prodigious numbers, that I believe the caching community is well served without my participation. I hope that you will give them the same support which I have enjoyed from you.  I believe that now I will be able to enjoy the rest which I have valiantly earned in your service.  I will now join the ranks of those local cachers who were active for a while, hid some caches, and then faded back into obscurity.  I won't entirely be gone from the caching scene.  I intend to follow all of your exploits via the internet, at least for as long as my failing eyesight will allow (sigh!)

There used to be another cache nearby, but it's been archived (like me, now).  I'm recycling the location.  The cache contains a log only.  BYOP.  No credit without your signature.  Park in the nearby lot.

I would like to say a special "Thank you" to Stews Crew, for her patient understanding of my need to retire.
