A two stage multi through Windy Hollow Park with paved path to start then it’s off onto the woodland trails.
Established in the 1850’s, Frogmore was a small hamlet which stretched along Dundas Street from present day Winston Churchill Blvd. to Fifth Line, and included a school, post office, church, wagon works and brewery. With the closing of the post office in 1874, the residents became absorbed into nearby Sheridan or Erindale and the settlement soon faded into obscurity. This area is now part of Mississauga, the 6th largest city in Canada.
Just like the history of this hamlet, the original Frogmore cache also disappeared – the evidence suggests some young lads had first raided the local brewery and then discovered the hiding spot. The cache moved east to Erindale in Dec/06 and was then reduced to 2 stages after losing one of its senior residents in Feb/07.
