What better way to spend an extra day of the year than helping to maintain a park? In the spirit of Cache In Trash Out fun, we will be cleaning up the litter at Lake Poway Reacreation Area and focusing on the areas around the shoreline as suggested by the park staff. Lake Poway is a beautiful place to spend part of your day so join in on the CITO action!

Time: 9:30am-10:30am
Timeline: 9:30am-9:40am Sign in, trash bag and glove distribution. 9:40am-10:25am collect trash and recyclables. 10:20am meet back at the picnic tables for raffle of FTF honors and prizes (a few unactivated TBs).
What Will Be Supplied: Trash bags, gloves, water, and granola bars. The park rangers will also lend us grabbers/pickers that they have - but they stated that they do not have many.
What You Should Bring: Sunscreen, hat, sturdy shoes, what you usually bring with you outdoors, and a good attitude!
Parking: According to the City of Poway's website, parking fees are not assessed on weekdays.
