Doc Drake Branta, world-renowned cyrptozoologist and founder/director of the Cryptozoological Capture and Containment Center, is missing. Help CCCC Intern Bob find him. He was last seen touring the grounds of the CCCC (located in Gilbert Lake State Park), visiting the Cryptid Containment Units. Tour the CCCC, find the clues, and determine Doc Drake Branta’s whereabouts. Be careful of the cryptids, though—we can’t afford to lose anyone else. (Posted coordinates are not for the cache!)
The CCCC (Cryptozoological Capture and Containment Center) is a series of caches located on the grounds of Gilbert Lake State Park. The park is open year round (admission fee required between Memorial Day and Labor Day) from dawn to dusk.
Intern Bob, has gone on ahead, looking for Doc Drake Branta, and has left clues to his location in the five Cryptid Containment Units:
Clue #1: C.C.U. - Werewolf GC2GBVQ
Clue #2: C.C.U. - Beast of Montauk GC2GBVK
Clue #3: C.C.U. - Hodag GC2GBVD
Clue #4: C.C.U. - Big Foot GC2GBTZ
Clue #5: C.C.U. - Chupacabra GC2GBV7
While the clues do not have to be collected in any particular order, the journal entries of Intern Bob do follow in the listed sequence.
There is no need to climb over or through anything to find and retrieve this cache.
While the caches have a Halloween/Monster theme to them, they are family friendly. No monsters were harmed in the creation of this cache series.
