The 1/2 mile hike to the cache provides some nice views-- and very near the cache itself are rare 360-degree vistas!
Park at N 35 42.714/ W082 16.489. Be sure not to block the gate. The trailhead is just a few yards past the gate and up the slope to the right-- fairly easy to miss. Follow the trail to the cache. Stay on the trail, as signs warn you not to leave the trail because the area is a watershed. Along the way there is a short side-trail off to a vista on the right; excercise caution there, though, especially with children-- there's a real drop off. Overhead foliage may hinder GPS along the way to the cache, but the cache area is well exposed and should give a fine reading.
