Geocache Description:

Few American cities can boast that their historic buildings were designed by one architect... but Oshkosh is one of them!

William Waters lived here for 50 years and left his talent everywhere, including 28 residents and 35 non-residents.

Many of the mansions in Oshkosh were owned by the lumber "barons" of the 1800's, who wanted to reflect not only their personal affluence, but also the diversity of the lumbers beauty.

Waters designed over 150 buildings, including the winning entry for the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago.

In his own time, Waters was a respected citizen who often shared his good fortune with those in need. He helped as a landlord by leaving rent uncollected in hard times, and providing free coal and firewood.

To find the cache, follow the coordinates to William Waters Plaza, across from the library that he designed.
Subtract the smaller number from the larger number, and divide the answer by 2. Seek the offset that many feet SOUTHEAST. You may have to do some snow brushing in winter to find the numbers!

Congrats to marc and benny on co-FTF!
