This is a cool micro-wilderness area in the middle of the city. There was an ammo box there, but it was vandalized and stolen. A neighbor posted a note and a small bag that served as the cache for a bit and then some kind soul found another ammo box, so everything is almost as it was before. This is a very popular cache, as can be seen by all the cool things Geocachers drop by. Check it out today!

Above is the cache page as of 08/22/2003 (MotorBug's find #22, eight years exactly from when he found it to the date adopted.)
A little cache history: Beckerbuns was that kind soul who replaced the ammo box on 05/25/2003. She then adopted it on 02/17/2004 from Marky who had adopted it from the original placers. A and Joseph Ruff. The cache was replaced on or about 06/12/2007 by southbayday (subsequent name change to WWC - World's Worst Cacher) and in late January 2009, again by WWC. (Double thanks!)
As of 12/03/2011, the cache once again is an ammo box, with very 'heavy' camo. Please bring gloves, you will be glad. This is still a very busy area so be stealthy to the degree you can. Please take an extra minute to ensure the cache is well hidden.
Original cache owner info: 'A' is Andrew Naylor, the original owner. Joseph Ruff is the owner of another very old local cache GC148, The Dump.
Due to this cache being regularly muggled by (I presume) kids, I have reluctantly made it a Premium Member Only cache to see if that helps. The D/T rating is probably higher than what is listed, but after all these years it is what it is.
On 08/23/16, this cache was transferred from MotorBug to wa11ace.
On 2/3/2020, this cache was transferred from wa11ace to rragan. This seems to be karma at work as this cache was the first one rragan ever found.
