Located on Diamond Island on Lake George. You will need a boat to get to this cache. To verify your find post a photo of yourself with your GPS at the location.
Diamond Island is located approximately three miles from Lake George village and is currently owned by the State of New York. There is a stone monument on the island with an inscription that details the role Diamond Island played in the military history of the lake. To get to the monument, you will need a boat, and a day use pass from the Long Island ranger station. This is a virtual cache to find the monument only.
