It’s been a couple of years since the last Beer and Wings Event in this area. Time to revive the tradition!
We’ve looked far and wide and found a new venue, there is a milestone to celebrate (the big "50" birthday) and of course loads of Geocaching fun. Join us from 1 PM to 5 PM. We have a large table reserved at a special place. There will be container hidden the morning of the event at these coordinates with your invitation and the location enclosed.
Please consider coming and joining us for a fun time. Please post your intentions to attend as soon as possible. The venue does need a number to accommodate us.

First – the reason for our gathering – Geocaching Meet and Greet! Come and meet fellow geocachers, exchange caching stories and of course, exchange and discover TBs and Geocoins. You do not have to purchase anything to attend and enjoy this event.
Second – no Geocaching Get Together can happen without food being available. The venue has an extensive menu but more varieties of wings than I have ever seen, such as: Made with our sweet and spicy BBQ, traditional Buffalo style, or Maine Blueberry BBQ. Or for those who enjoy the heat - try Wombat Wings - served with bleu cheese dressing and celery sticks. The selection of beverages both beer and non-alcoholic is beyond compare. We will be ordering individually off their menu.
Third but certainly not last – there is a birthday to celebrate among one of our mid-Maine Geocachers – does anyone know who it might be? (the birthday boy is requesting no presents, but we will take canned and boxed food goods for the local food shelter) There might be some surprises around this too – so come and see what we have planned. We would love to roast the birthday cacher, so come with great stories.
Lastly – this is open to any and all Geocachers. Just a fun, get-together and an opportunity to exchange caching stories and information. The venue has wi-fi so there will be at least one lap top computer there for use.
