MM-Marlboro Nomad Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Jeep_Dog: The last cache placed before I left for Iraq, so this action is a bit sad. If someone gets a chance, please swing by when you get a chance to clean up the geolitter redirector (if it is still there, last reports indicated it still was). Otherwise, I'll get to it in two or so months.

Perhaps when I return I shall replace one here. Perhaps not. Marlboro Heights, by the way, is an interesting place in Killeen's history, if anyone cares to look it up. A key landmark area in equality.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Geocache Description:

Marlboro Nomad

Muggle Madness (MM): Series of caches placed in muggle high traffic area. The challenge is retrieving and replacing the cache with stealth. Please use discretion (choosing time and method of disguise) on MM caches to avoid muggle detection!

I will be gone for my second tour in Iraq from December 2005 through (a guess here) sometime in December 2006. A local cacher has graciously agreed to keep an eye on all my caches during this time, and you can email BigDogg4 with any issues you find with my caches. As time permits, I will keep tabs on my caches by monitoring my cache pages.

Muggles Beware of Muggles

Communities of nomadic people move from place to place, rather than settling down in one location. Many cultures have been traditionally nomadic, but nomadic behavior is increasingly rare in industrialized countries. However, this hearty nomad continues to exist in the heart of Texas, keeping alive an ancient cultural way of life in honor of cultures that inhabited these lands before us.

The cache difficulty rating is an estimate. This estimate takes into account the different nature of this cache, and that you may have to spend more time completing it than a typical multi-cache. In the end, it is up to you to decide (literally) the actual difficulty rating for this cache! The first stage is a difficulty of 2.5 stars, and is a waterproof container painted to match the environment in which it is hidden. The color of the final cache, and perhaps even the container itself, is again up to you to decide. Most of the cache attributes are also an estimate and can change based upon the environment, and according to the early logs on this one, the time of day you choose to visit. This is a dog-friendly cache with all points within Marlboro Park, as long as you have your pooch on a leash.

I hope you find this cache a different challenge, and have fun with it. This is a log only cache, so bring your pen. Cache owner will not provide any telephonic or email hints for the second stage; all the information you need (for hints or otherwise) is included in the first stage.

Please follow the instructions given at the redirector to keep the spirit of and purpose for this cache to stay alive. In order to ensure the integrity of the cache’s spirit and purpose, cache logs of those who do not follow through with the entire cache experience outlined in the redirector will be considered for deletion.

Note: It is important that you return the first stage of this multi to the EXACT location you found it.

First to find honors (perhaps even FTL-"first to loose") goes out to TKtrekker who stayed the course and grabbed this cache! Perhaps I should say FTF goes out to Hershey, but we will let TKtrekker figure all that nonsense out.
