Short walk out in the desert
I reset my odometer as I got out of my truck to see what kind of a hike it would be for the next guy. It took me 2 hours (moving time of 1:25) to place all 18 of these caches. The total hike was 3.4 miles...You can surely do them quicker but I'm sure the hike will still be over 3 miles. The terrain is very easy. Hope this cache, along with the others, puts a BIG SMILE on your face.

In town without the family grabbing a few caches.
I loved getting out in the desert for a nice hike.
I was able to average 4 minutes a find. I wish I had been in shape.

We were in town for the Shot Show last weekend an found some time to go caching. I had a couple of goals in mind for this trip, work on some solved puzzles and challenge caches, check, get Nye Co, check, and complete the Smiley Face in the Dessert series of caches, check. Thanks for the cache and sorry for the late log, work has been crazy since we returned.

It took my wife and I just about 2 hours to complete the smiley...and just under 3.4 miles.
