How Geocaching Works
This cache is located just off of Story City's lovely bike trail. You can access the cache from the parking area listed below (street parking). Original container has a pencil, log sheet, some small trade items and a Space Coast Geocachers Association pathtag for the FTF if they want it. Please place the cache back as you've found it after you sign the log.
I accidentally discovered this very nice bike path while I was out and about in Story City. We decided to walk it and see if there were any good hidey spots to place a cache. Lo and behold, we found a good one! Actually, to be truthful, there are several good spots here but we figured we would claim this one before it was taken.
*CAUTION - the path is paved most of the way to GZ, but the final 30' or so has hidden tree branches that are very difficult to see. Watch where you step so as not to trip over them. We found this out the hard way! Use even more caution if you attempt this during the winter.
Also, beware of the geese out here. They will stay out of your way for the most part, but if you get too close to them they might come after you! I don't know if they are here all year long, but they were there and tried to gang up on me when I was out placing the container.
