Hatchers Run 2 Mystery Cache
The_Fonz: I was in the area and checked on this today. The cache container is gone. I believe this is not a typycal muggle case, it's theft. Some slimy dirtbag stole the cache container, because 50 cal. ammo cans are worth $10-15 dollars. Whoever stole this cache, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits. You know who you are. This is reason geocaching is going downhill. Just for this reason, I shall never place another cache. I hope the thief reads this. Go to hell, thief, dirtbag scum.

Battle of Hatchers Run. Site owned/maintained by the Civil War Preservation Trust. I had a micro cache at this site before, until it was muggled. Read description carefully, or else you'll never locate the cache.
As before, drive 2.3 miles on Dabney Mill Rd. from US1. Coordinates are for the stone marker(In memory of Gen. John Pegram, C.S.A., killed in action nearby, 6 Feb. 1865). You will need a compass. Standing in front of the stone, shoot azimuth of 307 degrees. Cache is a 50 cal. size ammo can with my signature orange spots, by a large pine tree, with a mound in front of it. Not too difficult. Please re-camo the cache with pine needles, etc. Initial items in cache are several small books(old Smithsonian Museum guide, old Yellowstone Nat'l Park Guide, etc) in baggie, and logbook/pen. This place is bug city, in the summer months. Bug repellent recommended.
