The Granite State
This series started out half heartedly. We placed a cache in Brunswick a pine tree and called it "Maine State Nickname". we suggested it would be a cool series to place caches related to all the states' nicknames. Well, Shuman Road Searchers called us on it! We will try to place caches in a manner that suggests the nickname of the state in question. Bear with us, some are going to be a stretch
This was not originally placed to be part of the series, we just liked the little garden. I think the maintenance has been abandoned and I may try to take it upon myself to do a little community service in the spring if anybody wants to help me!
Anyway, the post and the benches are Granite, so this satisfies my attempt to suggest the nickname in some way.
I am guessing the white fella on top of the post is a fish... hard to tell!
