ONE of TWO caches dedicated to the renovated Berryessa Public
Library which reopened March 12, 2005.
9/25/07 You can find and log this one again even if you found the
previous cache container. Replaced container with a different type
and moved a few feet to avoid bushwhacking. Updated description and
hint, but did not archive and replace because this was originally
the first cache I ever placed. It was originally too close for
comfort to the Cacti, and so was my first exposure to the wrath and
kindesses of local cachers. It then migrated over to a nearby safer
location, but still has a good view of the cacti. While near cacti
and near a fence, you will not risk getting poked. You still need
to be stealthy, but neighbors should not bother you. There may be a
scaredy siamese cat prowling around after squirrels. There was one
nearby in 2005, and amazingly when I replaced the container in
2007, a now scrawnier siamese went running by the location and into
the bushes. While visiting the library make sure you check out the
pond, fountains, and the playground. Thirty years ago there was a
manmade stream that ran through the length of the park, but it has
since been filled in. Bring pen. No longer any room for trade
items.
