This cache was placed on the same day we placed
the "K"ismet and "N"ot Mine caches. We opted for the 9-mile
loop hike and placed these along our way, but you could do
this in several different attempts splitting up the pleasure
over the course of cache days.
While this picture MAY be a spoiler, I thought I'd better
include it. The best I could do for accuracy (with the dense trees
and high canyon walls) was 40 feet! I figure ANY hint would be a
good one here. And, yes, there may be some poison oak involved in
your hunt. NO NEED TO LEAVE THE TRAIL.
For this hike, whether merely to this cache or the entire loop,
bring PLENTY of drinking water and certainly swim apparel.
Poison Oak is DENSE along this trail, so it's perfect for a
Poison Oak Cacher's placement. :) To do the whole loop trail, I
provide a map below. If you take the scenic loop trail, you can make
this a three-fer including "N"ot Mine and "K"ismet Climb.
