Geocache Description:

Near to cairn on ridge of hills, altitude over 1800 ft

CACHE REVISED AND SLIGHTLY RELOCATED 22 SEPT 06

The cache is NOT in the cairn and there is not any need to move any stones in the cairn - please have a thought for those whom this remembers!

Approach can be from the Happy Valley at N 52° 34.782' W 03° 57.939' following the rocky track West (old Roman Road?) for about 2 km before striking up to Trum Gelli through a gate in the fence at N 52°34.906' W 04° 00.035' or from Pennal Village or for the very strong from Tal-y-Llyn Adventure (q.v.). If you want to come up from the Tal-y-Llyn Railway it is also possible to come up from Rhyd y Rhonen or from Dolgoch or Quarry Siding but the last two will entail some rather steep untracked slopes.
