The cache is located in the Five Ridge Prairie and is in the SW quadrant of the preserve and is shown as Tombstone on some maps.
It is about 4.5 miles or so (round trip) to the cache from the parking area and there are several fairly steep hills to climb that are moderately strenuous.
Be sure to carry adequate water and plan to spend up to 3 hours enjoying the hike and there are some magnificent views into So. Dakota when you get to ridge 5. Bring your camera.
One of the better routes is to go to valley 4 and go north on the trail and it will turn west to meet ridge 5.
