WWFM 'Cuse (World Wide Flash Mob) Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Criswell: It's time to close this listing down. If you are the owner of one of the many TB's or Geocoins still listed here, I do not have them. In many cases, the last holder of the coins and bugs was coterm59, who passed away shortly before the event. I do not know if anyone will answer his geocaching e-mail contact, but I have tried.

If the last holder was NOT coterm59, the best I can suggest is contacting him/her/them and, in the worst case, hunt through the list of attendees.

Geocache Description:

WWFM Cuse (Syracuse, NY) will be held at HANOVER Square Park from EXACTLY Noon to EXACTLY 12:15 on Saturday, November 10th, 2007; Apres Event will be held at about 2 PM at the new location of Steak & Sundae.

It puts the log sheet in the bucket, or it gets its entry deleted.

This is part of a co-ordinated World Wide Flash Mob event. You can find several caches, waymarks, and benchmark disks very close, to keep you in the general area before the event officially begins at noon. Apres Event will be held at Steak & Sundae's new location at 1830 Teall Ave (just north of Shop City) starting at 2 PM, for a less frantic chance to discover/trade bugs/coins, and be more social.

WiFi should be available at HANOVER Square, but not at Steak & Sundae.

Tentative Schedule, Itinerary, and list of description of jobs needed: Please feel free to volunteer for one. I'm going to need a LOT of help here. (visit link)

Remember that our clocks are 3 hours later than San Diego. To co-ordinate with all other simultaneous WWFM events, our local magic time is 12 Noon to 12:15, EXACTLY. Not one second more or less.

Around 2 PM to ??? - People reassemble at Steak & Sundae's new location.

CONTEST:

Sonny and Sandy e-mailed me (and all WWFM organizers):

Please post a note to your event, letting people know that just by attending, they will be entered into a contest to win a prize. They will need to listen to PodCacher.com to see if their name is called as a winner. We'll do the drawing on a show sometime after Nov 24 (by which time we should have received all the names from you guys). Remember, if a name is called and we don't hear from them within 2 weeks, they lose out and we pick another name! :(

And, yes, our log sheets were sent to Sonny & Sandy the Monday after the event. If your log sheet wasn't in the bucket, you weren't there. This means you, C.C.Cooper Agency!

It took them an hour to get ten people seated at Steak & Sundae. I called them a week in advance to avoid just this sort of thing. The portions were huge (as always), the waitress was courteous (as always), the food was delicious (as always) but the wait was inexcusable. I'm recommending to NEVER go back there.
